Bunsen Clams

Today is Bunsen Burner Day! The inventor of the bunsen burner, Robert Wilhelm Eberhard von Bunsen, was born on March 31st, 1811. The bunsen burner is an important part of scientific experiments. At least it was on the high school level, but I assume real scientists use it constantly as well because that's what I see in the movies. I don't know of any way to celebrate this holiday other than playing experimenting with a bunsen burner. I suppose you could also simply spread the word about Robert. His name is a mouthful, though.

Today is also Clams On The Half Shell Day! Today, go out to a seafood type restaurant and order clams on the half shell. Or just go get some clams yourself and eat them. It's a raw dish. See what makes seafood so disgusting? I mean fruits and vegetables are also technically raw when I eat them, but they also were never sentient beings. Don't get me wrong: I eat cow/chicken/pig and all that good stuff. But aquatic things just... they don't change looks from the habitat to my plate. It freaks me out!

Thanks for reading!
