Pie is for Eating.

Today is National Raspberry Cream Pie Day! I'm a fan of pies, but not really the cream variety. However, I'm a big enough fan of raspberries that I can put aside my differences for today and have a slice of raspberry cream pie. Which is how today should be celebrated. In case you hadn't gotten the pattern of most food holidays being celebrated by eating the food for which the day is named. I've mentioned before that there are only so many ways I can tell you that you get to eat food today. It tastes good and today gives you an excuse to eat it even if you are on some crazy diet or something. Not much else to say. So... ...yep.

The Best Kind Of Anything

Today is National Cheesecake Day! Cheesecake is quite possibly the best kind of cake. It's smooth, rich, and filling. It also comes in just a bunch of different flavors, so there is absolutely no way you can get tired of it. I would say that there's no wrong way to eat it, but there actually is. If your cheesecake has actual cake in it (I'm looking at you, red velvet cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory), then it's wrong. Cheesecake is meant to be smooth and uninterrupted by some fluffy filler cake. I don't mean any offense to Cheesecake Factory. Their White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle is the best cheesecake they have in my opinion. Buuuuuuut, my workplace has been making these awesome mini-cheesecakes in such awesome flavours like Cookies n' Cream that have become my main source of cheesecake nutrition because they are so very good.

We All Scream For Iced Tea.

Today is National Iced Tea Day! I've been a fan of iced tea for a while now, and have recently even gotten into hot tea. Ice tea is one of the perfect drinks for the summer, so this a pretty perfect time to have this holiday. I've even gotten to sample a lot of different flavours at my new job at a bakery/cafe. I, myself, am a big fan of peach iced tea. I'll sometimes have mango at restaurants because for some reason they don't have peach. Although raspberry is also pretty good. Wow I'm getting thirsty. I'm going to go make some ice tea.
